BANK ISLAM BRUNEI DARUSSALAM (BIBD)

The anchor bank for the development of the Mobius Platform has been Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD). In the past decade, the bank has taken the opportunities of digital banking to transform its digital and physical channels and its internal operating models. As a result it has become the number one bank in Brunei and a serial winner of best bank awards.

PEOPLE'S BANK OF SRI LANKA

Since 2016, the People's Bank of Sri Lanka has been the largest bank to deploy the Möbius Platform. With 17 million customers and 750 branches, this traditional state-owned bank has transformed itself into the country leader in digital banking. With 300 new digital branches, new mobile and internet banking services and a complete overhaul of its lending practices, People's Bank has won a series of industry awards in 2018 and 2019.

COMMERCIAL BANK INTERNATIONAL (CBI)

CBI was the first SDE customer to commit to a transformational strategy end-end. As a result, the bank modernized its core banking by adopting the latest Silverlake SIBS version as well as deploying a wide range of Mobius modules to deliver a digital banking strategy for both its corporate and consumer segments. CBI was bold enough to cut over the new core banking, the Mobius branch modules and the digital (mobile and internet) banking modules in a single 'big bang' deployment. This was successfully achieved in 2016.

THE ASIAN BANKER FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION AWARDS

With these clients, Silverlake has won two Asian Banker Innovation awards – in 2016 with BIBD and in 2018 with People's Bank. These awards recognise the impact of the Möbius Platform technology on business success, particularly in the increases in accounts and the level of cross-selling achieved by our clients.

Chris Skinner, recently nominated as the “UK's Most Influential Technology Commentator” and author of 'Digital Bank' and several other books was the key-note speaker at the Silverlake AXIS Customer Convention in 2018. Subsequently, he devoted one of his blogs to the Möbius Platform describing the Möbius Platform as a 'super-enlightened approach'.
